Warley Park – Louise & Tony
My first wedding photography assignment of 2016 found me at Warley Park in Brentwood, Essex. It was only a short few weeks ago that I was off out with Louise and Tony for their pre-wedding session walking through fields of bluebells and woodland.
I first met Louise and Tony in September of last year where Louise was bridesmaid to her sister (you can read more about that wedding which won East Anglian wedding of the year here), and now the roles were reversed.
The day started at Louise and Tony’s home where Louise along with the rest of the bridal party were busy getting ready with hair and make up duties falling to the talented Lisa of Essex Wedding Beauty and once again working along side videographers Cross Sullivan Weddings who are always a pleasure to work with. Following tradition, Tony had been banished for the morning and was away at the venue with his groomsmen and left in the capable hands of wedding photographer number two, Nick.
Once all were ready, it was time to leave for Warley Park. Bridesmaids left in a white London taxi while Louise and her dad made their way in a lovely Rolls-Royce Regent, both supplied by Aristocars.
The key selling point of Warley Park that sets it out from any other wedding venue is the setting for the wedding ceremony itself. Outdoors on decking floating over one of the lakes in the golf course with the guests seating on a gentle slope gives for a stunning backdrop and everyone can see the ceremony clearly. All works well to give some beautifully unique photos from the ceremony.
With a short time devoted to the formal group shots and some time to take Louise and Tony away for the first time as husband and wife for some couples portraiture it was time to down tools for a while an enjoy the wedding breakfast and to get ready for the speeches and evening celebrations.
Below are a few images from the day, but before we move on to those lets give a big congratulations to Louise and Tony!
